Dogs and Grandkids

I bought an entire bolt of this great little check fabric at Hancock Fabrics. I thought it would be good for a bunch of my projects. Here are several of them. I plan to use it to make or back place mats also.

 I also covered this desk chair which has been various colors over the years. It came with a desk that my daughter had in her room many years ago. The last paint job was black over white and it is now distressed from wear.

I also got inspired by Patti at Pandora's Box and started painting MacKenzie-Childs inspired black and white checks. I have a way to go before I tackle some of the great projects that Patti does.

I had three little vases from Ikea that I decided to paint; actually I used a black magic marker.

This plaque was purchased when we began the remodel on the old farmhouse. I decided that the checks need to be black and white.

A little acrylic paint and here it is now.
