Well, I finally got the photos of Evan the day we picked up his letter jacket at the high school.

I CAN SEE CLEARLY

Woo hoo. I had cataract surgery on my left eye this morning. I can see my computer screen without reading glasses. I am still groggy from the meds and have been sleeping most of the day, but am thrilled with the results of the surgery.

Valentine's Camping Trip

We had a great time camping at Kings Mountain State Park this past weekend. Avery and her friend, Kathryn, and Alex had fun at the playground and taking a looong walk with PawPaw and Jim. Marsha and I stayed in our campers and read while they were gone. That's my idea of a good day.

Avery, Kathryn and Alex spent a lot of time playing with my camera. They would set it to take a picture automatically. When it was about to shoot, they would jump in the air and hope for the best.

Rusty and the girls bought me a pot of tulips for my Valentine present.

Full Moon

I finally got out the tripod and got a shot of a beautiful full moon. I did not get a shot of the perigee moon last month and was determined to at least get a good full moon shot. My Heart Aches for My Aussie Friends

This photo highlights the tragedy that is happening in Australia with the bush fires. The loss of human and animal life is just staggering. This poor koala drank 3 bottles of water from the fireman. He was later sent to wildlife rescue.

Round 1 of the Trendsetters Contest Results Are In

and I am out. I don't know why I am so disappointed about not moving on in the contest, but I really am.

Cataract Surgery

I have my surgery on Thursday. I am so excited to be able to see out of my right eye again. I did not know how much I could not see!!!

Everything went so well. I can't say enough about how great Dr. Scott is. I am having the left eye done on the 19th.

David's 40th Birthday

David celebrated his 40th with a family party on Jan 24.
